Peter East

The Peter East Associates website underwent a complete redesign to update its outdated early-2000s aesthetic and improve functionality. The goal was to modernize the look and feel while ensuring users can easily access all training options (classroom, live online, and e-learning).

Their legacy site was outdated, hard to navigate, and did not reflect the quality or professionalism of their services. The primary goal was to modernise the user interface, improve accessibility, and create a more intuitive experience for both new and returning users — all while maintaining trust and regulatory clarity.

I began with a full audit of the existing website, mapping user flows and identifying key friction points. Many users were dropping off before reaching course booking forms, and there was no clear hierarchy guiding them through the site.

Working closely with the client, we gathered insights about their target users — often time-poor logistics professionals needing clarity and speed.


Wireframing & Structural Redesign

Developed a streamlined site structure with clearly defined navigation paths. The new layout prioritised course categories, upcoming training schedules, and regulatory updates. Key CTAs were reworked to be more intuitive, and course pages were rebuilt with collapsible content modules for easier scanning.

Execution

The redesigned website marked a significant transformation in both visual presence and user experience. After launch:

  • Course bookings increased due to clearer navigation and streamlined booking flows

  • Users reported greater ease in finding relevant training information

  • The new visual identity reinforced Peter East’s reputation for reliability and regulatory expertise

The redesign also positioned the company to scale its offerings globally and cater more effectively to mobile-first users.
