Ruebik
Ruebik is a platform designed to connect recruiters with jobseekers through a clean, efficient digital experience. The business needed a website structure that supported two distinct user pathways and clearly communicated the value of the platform to both sides.
Strategy
As part of the design team at CBD, I worked on the UX foundations for the site, carrying out competitor research, mapping the two user journeys and developing the initial set of low-fidelity wireframes that shaped the direction for the final build.

The project began with a deep review of the recruitment landscape, focusing on how existing platforms handled the split between employer and candidate journeys. I analysed the strengths and weaknesses of major competitors, identifying where information was buried, where pathways became confusing and where users typically dropped off. From this, it became clear that Ruebik needed a distinct split at entry level, supported by two clear information architectures that made sense for each audience.
Execution
I created low-fidelity wireframes for both user groups, defining the structure of each pathway and the content required to support them. The recruiter flow was built around posting roles, reviewing candidates and highlighting platform efficiencies, while the jobseeker flow prioritised search, simplicity and trust. These wireframes formed the basis for content planning, UI direction and the later design stages, helping the client make informed decisions before visual design began.
Outcome
The work provided Ruebik with a clear foundation for a dual-pathway site, reducing early friction and helping both audiences find what they needed more quickly. By establishing the structure upfront, the development team were able to move forward with confidence, and the client had a clear understanding of how the platform would support its two core user types.
Clean layouts, strong typography, and carefully selected visuals ensured a seamless user experience while reinforcing the company’s mission of driving positive change in leadership. Every element was designed to feel intuitive, empowering users to easily navigate and access key insights without friction.
